Owner Cara Cobb Grew up in the wilderness of Alaska on a Homestead North of Fairbanks. Hunting, Fishing, trapping and gold-mining was the normal activities of her daily life.
Using off road vehicles and sometimes horses was the only forms of transportation that was used to access the childhood homestead and other remote camp sites located in many parts of Alaska.
Cara Cobb would love to share this wild Alaska, the ruggedness and beauty through North of Normal ATV Tours.
With these trips, you’re definitely off-road: dirt and rock trails, gravel bars, even creek crossings. You’ll likely have the option of driving yourself, after a quick primer on how to operate the four-wheel, all-terrain vehicles. (Kids under driving age will always be passengers.)
Not only can you cover ground quicker than you do hiking, it is a lot of fun. Some of the trails and creek crossings can be tricky at times, however, this is the adventure part of Alaska.
Aside from the owner, your other guide is a seasoned lifelong Alaskan and a retired Alaska State Trooper. With these two guides you will be sure to hear fantastic stories about Alaska and have fantastic stories about your adventures in Alaska with North of Normal ATV tours.
